This event made me think about the importance of gathering in spaces like these with women of color. I believe activities that include groups of positive women create a space of support. Every “yessss sis” or “you got this” was encouragement that I always forget that I need.

Kobe was so inspirational to many and so intentional in how he lived his life. Kobe had passion for sports, literature, science, and supporting various causes.

This conversation is not black & white but, there are some clear indicators on when credit should and should not be expected.

Egypt being the epicenter of Knowledge, Power, Conception, & Corruption. The absolute depiction of good & evil, frequently makes it’s way into headlines every “so-often”.

“Young rappers who are addicted… Industry execs are pushing these artists knowing that they are addicted”.

In order for us to see a better America, we have to start with intentionally supporting black women. Especially black men.

Something special happens when black men harness their power. Not the strength and the fight we know of but, the creativity. The things that bring them joy.

You broke color barriers, became a ring legend and trail blazed your way thru this world.
