Is Capitalism Ethical?

(Left to Right) J.Cole, Ryan Coogler, Marshawn Lynch

As we continue to push the message of giving flowers while they are due. We point our attention to Ryan Coogler. For those who don’t know (you would be surprised), Ryan Coogler is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. His first feature film “Fruitvale Station” brought our attention to Michael B. Jordan and ripped our hearts out, as it introduced us to Oscar Grant, a young man who was killed in 2019 by BART police officer Johannes Mehserle…

Ryan Coogler also directed Creed, the seventh series of the Rocky films and the Marvel film, Black Panther.

Let’s get to the chase… Ryan also has a podcast. He recently sat down with J.Cole and Marshawn Lynch
(we are total Stans for this conversation). They speak about the rap industry and the sports industry and how they exploit the players and the musicians. Something that was brought up that was so profound… “Young rappers who are addicted… Industry execs are pushing these artists knowing that they are addicted”.

In capitalism, anything goes. Example Given - Kobe & Gianna Bryant - the tabloids breaking the news before first responders could reach out to the families.

Then Marshawn Lynch speaks on football stating,

“ It’s a tough situation”.

He then goes on to say that many players “code switch” to stick around. The NFL has no black owners.
